3D Movies list

3D movies have been in existence since the beginnings of the 20th century.

They achieved a small momentum in 3 periods: 1930-1950-1980. But due to the lack of a standardized format and very costly equipment, the production had been limited to a certain niche in the movie industry (mostly amusement parks). Beginning the 21th century, the 3D format revolutionized all through the world and have recorded a great success since then with the releases of epic features, such as James Cameron’s Avatar.

As you can see from the image above, 3D releases are increasing exponentially the last few years. But, will it last? We can only hope…
